✔️ Get feedback when clients decline proposals and documents: Nobody likes rejection ❌ …but sitting there wondering why you lost the deal is way worse. The new ‘Decline’ setting for proposals and documents gives you clarity and real data to improve your offerings through direct feedback from leads and clients when they decline your offer. Instead of leaving you hanging, you’ll get a notification and a reason - so you don’t have to guess what they’re thinking.

✔️ Custom invoice descriptions: You can now customise invoice descriptions when completing and submitting invoices with one-off jobs that need tailored details.

✔️ Performance improvements to the proposal wizard: We’ve made the Customise step of the proposal wizard faster to improve overall performance during proposal set-up.
✔️ Improved Xero integration handling: If Xero is temporarily unavailable, your integration will remain connected and automatically re-sync once service is restored.
✔️ABN integration for Australia: We’ve added ABN Lookup integration for our Aussie users 🇦🇺 Working like our UK Companies House integration, you can now search by company name to automatically pull in the business listing, contact details, address, and ABN number of new leads and clients.
✔️ Sample Pricing Menu for Australia: Introducing a tailored sample pricing menu for Australian users with localised pricing examples to help you set up your proposal templates faster.
✔️ Improved experience for non-UK customers: We’ve made several updates to make Socket smoother for international practices 🌍 You can now select your operating country, subscribe in your local currency (in selected regions), and enjoy improved handling for regional document templates.
✔️ Improved team invites: When in safe mode, Socket now prevents invites being sent to invalid email addresses, making it clearer when an invite won’t go anywhere.

✔️ Socket’s Zap Templates⚡ Get started faster with pre-built Zapier workflows for Socket. We’ve launched ready-to-use Zap templates in the Zapier Directory so you can connect Socket to your favourite apps in just a few clicks.
✔️ New improvements to our Karbon integration make it easier and quicker to map your Karbon contact types, plus, Socket now pulls in all contacts associated to your Karbon clients, so you can select which contact you want to send the proposal or engagement letter to.
✔️ We’ve made it easier to manage your dynamic tag defaults from your Service Schedule templates, and we’ve also made dynamic tags searchable. We’ve updated the in-app messaging so it’s clearer how dynamic tags keep your content tailored and relevant to your clients.

Post outstanding invoices to Xero mid-month, or on a historical basis
If a client approves a proposal after the billing month has been finalised, you can backdate the start date and post the invoice directly to Xero.
This update saves time manually raising invoices in Xero, and keeps your billing accurate when proposals are approved late, new deals secured mid-month, or historical invoices need to be raised.

We now have Beneficial Ownership Structure Charts available for new Leads and existing Clients.
This feature helps you get a clear idea of your client’s ownership structures at a glance. Not only is this useful for AML and KYC regulations, but it also helps you pitch the right services to the client.
Powered by Xama, but available to all Socket users - even if you don’t have a Xama account yet. You’ll find these charts under the ‘Lead Details’ view and the ‘Client Details' view, right where you’ll need it for new prospects and renewals.

Manage your client pipeline right where it all starts.
We’re excited to open the new Leads Module to beta testers this month. Leads is going to revolutionise how you manage your deals, by giving you a fully integrated client pipeline, for a fraction of the cost of a CRM.
It’s simple to set up, easy to use, and incredible value for money. You can set deal values to forecast revenue, and even use the Lead Detail view like you would a CRM: tracking the lead status, touchpoint timeline, and activities. What's more, you have all of that knowledge in Socket, right where you'll build the proposal.
This one's dropping soon, get in touch if you’re interested in beta testing this feature, or join the mailing list below.

Using our clever You Pay, They Pay grid we highlight where you’re losing money on your client Xero subscription costs. The new Price Monitoring feature in Socket is designed to help you protect your margins, by automatically tracking changes in key proposal drivers. Right now, it’s launched for Xero subscription costs, but in the future we’ll be able to track other software, payroll, and transaction volumes.
Interested in enabling Price Monitoring?
We want our pricing to be as straightforward as possible, so we’ve reworked our pricing plans to give you better value, more flexibility, and the confidence to grow your practice without hidden costs.
